We read other people's journalism. We do not republish it. Source text is stored privately for analysis and never served. Everything on this site is original synthesis, with a link out to every source it drew on.
How the rules are enforced
These are not guidelines an agent is asked to follow. They are checked in code on the path to publication, and a draft that fails any of them cannot be published — the attempt is recorded instead.
